Looking for a Change in...........................:)

Wondering people attending interviews frequently.

If they just complete one year, they will be looking out for job change.

Does is it add value on their CV?

Other part is, the company would have spent on individuals in respect to the trainings and so on. Is it fair to do that?

I have seen both ends, wherein people staying in for 10 years in a company and people just quiting after one year or even less than that.

My question is, Is 1 year enough for somebody to understand and get an hang of the domain they are working for?

Living in Peculiar Ghost!!!!!

Aahhh, Bangalore is filled up with outstation people (Disclaimer: I am not against them). There is an extreme increase in people migrating to Bangalore and gradually settling here by buying a Flat from Mantri or shoba developers or anyone else. The class of people coming to Bangalore are mostly students (may be the one, who is seeking admissions to Engg college) or Job seekers, because people think that atleast a decent amount of salary can be earned to lead a decent life.

After coming here they land up in friends Room or a PG or starting, for few days landing up in relative’s house and then moving into a PG.

S that is the reason now-a-days PG has become a good business for the housewives. Living in PG is a monster hut for many (not all). Because here you need to share your personal space with the other Room mate, you loose your privacy. And for the worst part food will be horrible to taste most of the times. If you are an shift worker and travel a long distance to your office, you will be definitely missing one of your food, as you will charged for the whole 3 times food. Because of the increase in the demand for the PG, now-a-days the owners of the house convert their small (extra) Rooms to PG Rooms, and in turn the rooms are vividly smaller.

And if you are fedup of PG and start looking out for a room to stay alone, it may not be affordable also. So if you go for sharing your Room with your 3-4 of your friends, life is even more disgusting. I often hear from my friends circle, that sharing work with room mate is very horrible. Once in the Tea talk, I heard my friend telling me on the part of cooking. She was very disappointed by her room mate, as she was not cooperative and helping her in cooking. And she was also complaining about the turning ON the T.V in mid-night, as the other room mate was working day-shift in a call-center. So if your room mate is understanding and sharing that’s fine J otherwise it’s ridiculous.

The best practice you can cultivate is, try to help each other in work. Like one can cook and the other can take care of arranging shelves and cleaning. This way you can atleast minimize the grudges between.
