By simple I meant by viewers point of view, but it had involved many techniques in it, which we have seen.

We have also seen the stars advertising for the products and becoming the brand ambassadors, like Amir Khan for TATA SKY and Shahrukh khan for Dish TV. There may be a healthy/rivalry competition between these two. But still we can clearly see the cut throat competition between them. Both are slashing the price rates and adding up additional features and so on. This scenario happens between any of the products. Generally, this happens when there is two product companies entering into the market more or less at the same time and thriving for the market share.

Adding to that here comes the advertisement of the Rin product, which is a consumer product. I was surprised to see the Rin advertisement where it took its competitor Tide to show that it was the best than the Tide. I was wondering that are these companies following the rules and regulations in the advertisement field.

Shivamoga

A week back we had been to Shivamoga to attend wedding of my cousin. Shivamoga is of 7 hrs journey from Bangalore. Shivamoga is derived from lord shiva’s moga (mukha i.e. face). The wedding was arranged very well. . After wedding, we roamed around the city in vidyanagar. It is a small town in Shivamoga. We took a walk in the same lane of the wedding hall located. We saw mangoes on the way, meanwhile we asked the cart guy for some park or visiting places in that city. Then he pointed to the palace, which was in the same lane of the wedding hall. Actually, you cannot realize that it is a palace. Because of the poorly maintained entrance. There is no single signboard of saying that there is a palace. Well we got a place to relax.
Here are few pics of the palace.
First the Wedding Couple

<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5341177587625306194" style="DISPLAY: block; For the first time I thought that they were the animated cartoons.
Vodafone have come with up new great idea to promote their product in the IPL cricket matches. These adds were especially prepared for the IPL matches and have been launched.. It is said that they have 22 ads and each day there will be new one released on the screen. These have been produced by the Ogilvy &Mather, the add agency that handles the Vodafone adds. The greater fact is that these ads were shot within 1 month.

More Details:
They have used thin ladies and covered them up with the layers of thin white fabrics and the faces of the characters and pasted with the thin rubber material for the exhibit of facial expressions.
you can Download your Favourite ones here: http://vodafone.in/existingusers/pages/vodafonetvc.aspx
Coollll idea!!

Biometrics

Yesterday over a conversation with colleague she talked about her recent visit to the Thirupathi Temple. She also said about the crowd and the ATR (All Time Rush) there. In fact this rush will never end up, irrespective of the season. She also mentioned about the food served their. In fact earlier there was stipulated time for the lunch and dinner, after which the food will not be served. Itseems, that recently they have changed this and made it ATA (All Time Availabe).
Immediately my mind recalled Dharamtasatala. It is one of the holy places for Hindus. Even here the food is free for the temple visitors.
The thing which striked me more in her conversation was: she mentioned about the food served free for the people who comes climbing the hill steps.
I had a confusion here, that how will they recognise people who have climbed the hill steps or they have come via their vehicle transport.
Okk,,, the question was still in my mind, as i didn't get a exact answer . Later on I read on the net on that they have been using the biometrics technology in thirumala also.
How?... the people who walk through the hill steps, before they could start, the thirumala administrative people will get the finger prints of hands. This is Hilarious!!
Yet to see the Biometric PAN cards. Not to mention that this is going to be implemented very soon by Indian IT companies only, that’s Good to hear.

does look matters?

wonder start to notice Mandira in her new looks.if u have noticed, Mandira has changed her looks in this ongoing IPL cricket match.was that her new looks specific for the IPL cricket match? no idea. well for me she was looking better in her previous looks, compared to the one now with short blacked hair. very much before her entry to the cricket match, I liked her in the Teleserial Shanti.I have heard that Shanti was a massive hit serial. well Mandira entry to the cricket match was with the Word cup 2003 in south Africa.after that she never turned back to her teleserial life. Frankly I haven’t watched completely any of them. But from last two weeks I have sticked to watching one reality show which is called Daddy No.1 in the Zee Kannnada channel http://www.glutv.com/Shows/Glu%20Regional/Zee%20Kannada/Daddy%20No%201/0/34. Actually I was forced to see this program from my Son.

More often we come across the shows which give prominent role and credit to the mother. Generally the role of the father is undermined. But this reality game show which is hosted by Zee Kannnada and anchored by the popular tele-serial actor and well known film actor Rajesh has given more value to the child and Father Relationship and it depicts that every Father is a “Super Hero”, irrespective of his winning in the Game show. Till now 110 teams have been participated. The preliminary elementary rounds are finished, the semis are ON. On a whole it builds a strong relationship bond.

I wish many of these kinds of shows to come up, where Father Role is exposed.

Traffic Signal

Things done while waiting in the traffic signal:
· Stare at your fellow riders / riders gadgets
· A circular view on the shops on either side of the road
· Looking at ur watch, if ur in hurry to reach your destiny
· Balancing the bike if you are short of length :)
· Stare at the Countdown of the traffic signal time
· If it’s a manual traffic signal control, horn at the traffic cop.
· Stare at the banners on the roadside (oops now-a-days u find only the politicians photo banners)

Zen - The Power

I somehow started liking the Zen Readings after attaining the Narssimhan's session in STC Conference in Pune last year. Jayanagar was traditionally regarded as the southern end of Bangalore. The "South End Circle", wherein six roads from different areas meet, and the historic Ashoka Pillar (which was to mark the southern end of the city) bear this fact. While newer extensions have taken away this distinction from Jayanagar, it still remains one of the more southern parts of the city.

Marathahalli Halli
Marathahalli in Kannada means village. About a month back I had been to this place. This was 3rd time we are going there. Kanchipuram is known for silk sarees and it also called saree palace. Kanchi sarees is named after its place Kanchipuram.
We left @ 5.30 in the morning and reached Kanchipuram @9.20. The shop there usually opens at 10. So we had to kill 40 minutes. Meanwhile we had breakfast, which suju had packed. It was 10.15 when we entered the shop; by then already two customers had entered. They were also buying sarees for the Marriage function. The shopkeepers are very quick and clever; they could make out us that we are buying sarees for the marriage function. May be the group we went there made him realize, but they are smart enough to guess for which occasion the customers are buying.
First we started selecting the sarees for sheela (bridegroom), and then we started selecting for ourselves. We got confused which one to buy by the amount of collection they had.
I had dark green color strictly in my mind to buy, and then I went on it. So totally we bought 18 sarees and the girl side bought abt14-16 sarees. At the end looked at the watch it was 3.30. You won't realize the time when u are inside. We paid the bill and existed from the place. sujju was insisting going for another shop, as she did not find the type of saree she had in her mind, so we went to other shop, luckily she found it there and she was happy. At about 4.30 we had our lunch in Sharvanna Hotel, suppose to be The Best Hotel in Kanchipuram. But nobody in my family liked the Hotel, as we didn't find roti's or chapati's there. I ended in drinking juice there to fill my empty stomach. We started leaving there by 5.45. The file was running but there was no sound output. I was Shocked at that point. Just before the previous day it was working fine. Hmmm what to do… at first I checked my volume control- it was set to high, I cross checked in the control panel-> sound and audio device->volume, audio and voice tab are grayed off . I did a restart to the machine, but nothing worked. Called a friend who had configured my system, he gave some task to perform on the system, did that, even then nothing worked. By then it was already too late for my sleep. Rubbing my eyes too and fro, yawning broadly, did some Google. With the various solutions on the web I tried one-by one. But the result was negative. I was really frustrated at that moment. By then I saw the watch it was half past one. I left everything there put a full stop for my search then shut down my system and went for sleep. Next day in the office the audio problem of the system was still fishing in my mind. Again clinched on the web search, saw a couple of them. A saw a post which gave me a thought that it might settle my problem, immediately copied that paragraph to the mail and sent it to my personal mail ID. After 6 went home freshened up myself, had snack and straight away went to open my laptop tried the solution which I had in my mailbox. Of about 5.-6 steps lead me the way. And laptop was back with the sound output. It is no more deaf now.

Here are the tasks which I performed to get back the sound output on my HP Compaq Presario C700:

1. Installed the audio driver
Conexant CX20549-12 High Definition Audio Driver
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp36001-36500/sp36090.exe

2. When you install the driver it will give an error message [Media device not found]. Don’t get fooled by this. Now it’s your turn to take control of the system.

3. Open your “Device Manager”. Look for “High Definition Audio Device”. You will find a yellow mark beside it indicating that the devices is not working properly. Right click and choose to install driver. Don’t let installation wizard do any thing on its own.

4. Don’t let Windows to search for drivers. Choose advanced option of installing driver by choosing the location on your own.

5. Then choose “Audio, Video, Games Controller” and then don’t choose any driver from the list given by Windows. Click “Have disk”.

6. Now you need to look for a “swsetup” folder in your “C:” drive. This is the drive where HP drivers have been extracted automatically. Look for “sp36090″ [the number of the HP driver] folder in it. If you don’t find the folder in “swsetup” look for the folder in “C:” drive. You will find one “.inf” file in the folder [Don't go into the other folders within 'sp36090' folder]. This is the driver file for your audio device. Select it and proceed irrespective of any warning by Windows.

When I searched the web, I figured out that it was the problem caused by the automatic windows update. By chance I must have clicked on the icon which comes in the right hand side of the system tray.

well now I am enjoying listening to the podcast as usual.

Decrease in Size (Gmail)

Look what happened to my Gmail…

I was just replying to one of the email thread. It’s true that we generally do not identify our abilities and talents. A parent or mentor usually notice our abilities and guide us in the right direction. Sometimes it can be your own close friend who takes this role. We will be unconscious of the natural gifts gifted to us by the almighty. When something comes naturally to us we tend to overlook its significance. Our friends, family, peers and superiors may be able to clearly recognize out inherent talents and abilities before we do.

That’s why everyone has to have a mentor to achieve their goal in their life. Today, you can buy everything on EMI - a house, a television, an i-Pod, a handycam, and laptop and so on. In fact I know of someone who just bought a fancy BMW 3 series on EMI, instead of buying a cheaper car outright with cash. The situation of getting a loan might be tough now, but still the EMI has made the life so easy to go ahead to buy your needs. Of course one has to have a clear view of EMI over their Incomes. I wonder what not you can buy with EMI in future.

Well they call EMI as Easy Monthly Installment (EMI) to please and convince them rather than Equated Monthly Installment.

A thumb rule: Keep EMIs within 35 to 45 per cent of your monthly income

Droplets

The droplets standing on the flower in early hours of the day = u like to feel them
The droplets from the leaking tap = need not tell what it feels uuuuuuhhhh~!!!
The droplets from the trees after the rain = coolll refreshing
The last droplets from the delicious drink = u feel licking them
Lastly the droplets of eyes = what to tell except paaaapaaa.

Waited long and Excited now.

I felt bit bad, when all my friends were getting call from the most happening event in Bangalore- “Teach India” for the induction programme. We all five of them had registered for this at the same time; everyone got call from the Teach India but except me :(. Wondering why I did not get. It was me who inspired them to volunteer but I did not get a call from them till yesterday 12.00 PM. It was weekend and I had not touch the cell phone from the time I woke up. At about 1 in the afternoon just before going to have my lunch peeped into my cell and found 1 New Message from Teach India, excited and read through the message and it was the message to attend the induction programme on the Oct 5th in City College. I had been waiting for this from the time I registered. Thanks to Ashok who educated and inspired me on this. And now waiting for 5th Oct.

It's entirely Other World.

Everybody in the corporate world has two world, namely the one in which we live :).
And the other world, entirely indulged in it, guess which is that?

Yummy Yummy!!

My two cents on Tasting

I am not an expert or genius in the tasting world. But from my own experience, I discovered some of the tricks to perform while tasting the delicious food. So here it goes…

· ON some light Music
· Serve your food on the plate, use some design concept to arrange your food, as it pleases your eyes to munch it.
· Next feel the aroma of the food slowly by inhaling your breathe and by closing your eyes.
· After that put the food into your mouth now, and chew it slowly and softly. Take your time to chew it and relish it slowly.

Now how is it? Delicious, marvelous right? :)

You can give a try of the above steps by visiting to CCD.

Do/not keep changing your key chains

Hey how often you folks change your keychains. Quite often most of them do change. I love keychains be it of any kind and made. Inspite of loving so much, I lost many of them. My sis or somebody coming to home, they just see it and carry them of off… you can’t avoid it. Not to mention I recently went to Forum Mall to grab some books from the Landmark sale. I was a bit eager and in hurry, as you know as whenever there is sale or discounts happening anywhere, girls are first to watch and grab them J. As I was in hurry to land up there, I reached the spot and parked my vehicle there and ran to the shop without eyeing on any other shop in the mall. Straight to the landmark at level II, I started wandering to the book section and flipped some books and bought some. So now it was time to go to billing counter, for a wonder I saw all the 8 billing section in the landmark full with about 15-20 people in each billing section linedup. Oooppssssss waiting out there for my turn to bill was irksome. Waiting for somebody or something is really sick. Without anything to do in the lined up queue, passed those time by starring at the people and books they had bought and muttering at the guy at the billing counter, to make it fast. For the worst almost people who were standing in my queue had 2-3 baskets full to bill. Oh god! Really I was irritated at the rush in the landmark. Somehow waited, got billed and started towards home. Coming back went to the parking lot to pick my vehicle, searched for my key. I did not find it. Ohhohhh!!! I started pulling out everything from my purse to see where the key is hidden. Pulled out all the junk, but no luck. Disappointingly kicked my bike tyre. Seeing my panic the guard in the parking lot came to me, and asked kya huva madam? I told that I have lost my key and I am in search of it. He then asked me where u had lost it. If that was known to me, why would I have to worry? Then he guides me to the control room to check there. After going 2-3 levels downstairs reached the control room, there was another drama there, the senior guard asked me couple of questions to find out whether I am the genuine keyholder. He asked me to describe the keychain design, and so on. As I had changed the keychain just the day before the incident had happened. I was in confusion which keychain I had changed, if I answer him wrong, he is not easily going to give me the key and he doubts. So relaxed and thought for a while and answered him. And luckily got it correct and atlast found my keychain and of course the key of my vehicle, I was then relaxed and moved on from there.

Looking for a Change in...........................:)

Wondering people attending interviews frequently.

If they just complete one year, they will be looking out for job change.

Does is it add value on their CV?

Other part is, the company would have spent on individuals in respect to the trainings and so on. There is an extreme increase in people migrating to Bangalore and gradually settling here by buying a Flat from Mantri or shoba developers or anyone else. The class of people coming to Bangalore are mostly students (may be the one, who is seeking admissions to Engg college) or Job seekers, because people think that atleast a decent amount of salary can be earned to lead a decent life.

After coming here they land up in friends Room or a PG or starting, for few days landing up in relative’s house and then moving into a PG.

S that is the reason now-a-days PG has become a good business for the housewives. Living in PG is a monster hut for many (not all). Because here you need to share your personal space with the other Room mate, you loose your privacy. And for the worst part food will be horrible to taste most of the times. If you are an shift worker and travel a long distance to your office, you will be definitely missing one of your food, as you will charged for the whole 3 times food. Because of the increase in the demand for the PG, now-a-days the owners of the house convert their small (extra) Rooms to PG Rooms, and in turn the rooms are vividly smaller.

And if you are fedup of PG and start looking out for a room to stay alone, it may not be affordable also. So if you go for sharing your Room with your 3-4 of your friends, life is even more disgusting. I often hear from my friends circle, that sharing work with room mate is very horrible. Once in the Tea talk, I heard my friend telling me on the part of cooking. She was very disappointed by her room mate, as she was not cooperative and helping her in cooking. And she was also complaining about the turning ON the T.V in mid-night, as the other room mate was working day-shift in a call-center. So if your room mate is understanding and sharing that’s fine J otherwise it’s ridiculous.

The best practice you can cultivate is, try to help each other in work. Like one can cook and the other can take care of arranging shelves and cleaning. This way you can atleast minimize the grudges between.

Shopping Malls Turning into Hangout

Back from Shopping Mall!!!!!

Rena looked full in josh and enthu... (Rena my cousin)

I turned at her and asked her what did u shop?

Rena gave a big smile and just went out to ans a call on her high-end Mobile. I guess it should be some Nokia's E series one.

By the way I was more bothered that she had not carried back anything in her hand, in fact I was looking at her hands when she was back home.

Okk waited for her to ans me. But no sign from her side. Immediately aunt had called for dinner, so we all set to the Dinning Hall side.

I waited there for Rena (my hunting girl) to bother her.

She did not turn there also. So this I gave up the curiosity to ask her.

Just finished my dinner going to bed, Rena dressed in night clothes walked to the hall.

This time I caught her and blew my direct q on her. how was the shopping? This time I trimmed my q and made q a bit answerable from her side.

She started telling Gita had come all the way from Mysore. Still I didn't get the expected ans. so kept on listening to her. After all the story she ended in telling that the inttenion was to meet her, as they are meeting after a long time, so they wanted a Central Known Palace to meet. And decided to meet in the shopping Mall.

S this is the actual scenario of the Shopping Malls today.

Shopping malls are turning into just Hangouts for Many.

Like for Rena shopping Malls are just palaces to meet, gather blah, blah...

For some it may also eventually end them up in buying things also.

For some others it’s just a freak-out place, Time pass or spends one weekend evening.

I had also observed people giving the exact address by giving the landmark by referring to a Giant Mall/Popular Mall nearby. An outline will help you to get a clear picture of the subject matter and allow you to concentrate on one small part of the HOWTO at a time.

Unless your HOWTO is exceptionally small, your outline will probably be multilevel. When developing a multilevel outline, the top level should contain general subject areas, and sub-headings should be more detailed and specific. Look at each level of your outline independently, and make sure it covers all key areas of the subject matter. Sub-headings should cover all key areas of the heading under which they fall.

Each item in your outline should follow the item before it, and lead into the item that comes next. For example, a HOWTO about a particular program shouldn't have a section on configuration before one on installation.

You may choose to use the following outline for a HOWTO about using a specific program:

Development history

Where to download the software from

  How to install the software

  How to configure the software

  How to use the software

You may find it helpful to try a little "card sorting" at this stage of the writing process. Write all of your mini subject areas onto pieces of paper. Now sort these pieces of paper into main headings and their sub-sections. It may help to shuffle the slips of paper before you start. This will help to give you a fresh set of eyes while working.

When you are comfortable with your outline, look it over once more, with a critical eye. Have you covered every relevant topic in sufficient detail? Have you not wandered beyond the scope of the document? It is a good idea to show your outline to others to get some feedback.

Remember: It is much easier to reorganize your document at the outline stage than doing this after writing it.

Hot Summer Vacation!!

It’s nice to attend get-together parties, where we can meet our old fellow mates and some new. Even I had recently been to a get-together function organized by the company which is called as “Family Day”, the party had given a chance to meet the each other colleague’s families and get to know each other as well. It was a posh function and was arranged systematically. Well we also enjoyed the games conducted and Delicious Dinner. Kudos to the Event Manager!!!! After all now-a-days parties are becoming an inevitable to attend. It has become a part of the weekly activity of ones life. One which attracted my attention was the warm welcoming at the entrance of party. 3 young beautiful girls stood at the entrance to welcome the guests entering. A small cute piece of lovely smile on their face and a blossoming red rose in their hands to handover to the guest made me to hold a wink at them once more. One of them was a girl named, Chandana aged 16. She had been just completed her academic studies of the year and was enjoying and earning in her summer holidays. She had decided to not waste her vacation and to do some useful stuff. Children’s join painting, art, summer camp classes or go to their relative’s house or native places to spend their vacation. They get almost 60+ days of holidays in a year and about 1440 hrs to spend leisurely. Its more than enough to njoy. Children’s can choose their area of interest and take up the activity. Chandana had also decided to join the area of her interest and in turn had got in touch with the Event Manager and had been earning. Likewise Chandana had also had constraints like to be back home in time by 6 and lines of boundaries by her parents. Its nice to see the girl at that age opting to utilize her vacation time in earning. Somehow I was impressed the way the little girl had taken up this task.

Convict Drinking

Top Ten Reasons to Drink....

Oh shit! my dad's bought these UB shares and if there is something i can do to make his finances better it s this.

Heart broken by girl friend.

The work pressure.

Because i am quitting(drinking) from Monday (that is day after ) i better drink all i can before i quit .

If i stop drinking who is gonna teach the next generation to drink the right way (so for the sake of the future generation).

For the failures and disappointments in life.

To accompany Ur friends.

Just think of that shop owner. Even his partner tried at most. one day they were Really shock by this incident, they saw that the kid has imitated like his father and had been having glass of Wine in the room. S the whole family was shocked at his incident. His father blasted him for this. He questioned his son, why how u…..?. Never got the mind towards all these Time Pass Work.

Well I called it Time Pass Work. I know some (blogger) who are reading this blog get angry on me. But it was to me, as I was never into the blogging.

But now I am writing my first blog :-)

Well! Will tell u how I fell to writing the blog or how I got an interest to write the blog.

One afternoon one of my friend sent me a blog to read. But I refused to read, I told him I am not into all these stuffs, which are Time Pass Work. I told him the same Time pass work. That afternoon I felt very boring and it was very sunny day out and at the same time we had no work to do, as the project was just finished. As usual in the free time thought of learning some latest Tools, which I was very fascinated. But the trigger was that I did not open the tool to start Researching, rather I opened the browser and went to the link the friend sent. Till now unable to find the reason, but I guess it’s the blog I read made me to Blog!

It was an one page Blog, I don’t even remember the blog name or the person name who wrote the blog, it shows my interest on Reading the Blog. Kept on reading and reading, the blog really refreshed me up and made me smile a little bit :-)

Kept on thinking on what topic do I start blogging? (Gave my mind a bit work). I had pre-conception that bloggers they just copy paste the content from some where. So I felt I shouldn't do the same. It should be natural and simple and own. Then thought why not share my experience of start up in writing blog with others and to make some or the other smile a bit like me.

I started writing the blog meanwhile my cell rang. Actually it disturbed my attention. But still picked the call and told “HELLO”. The other end it was as AD call from “AIRTEL”. Immediately I cut the call and stated writing. This shows my interest in writing the Blog Now.

This how I stated writing this blog. Hope u Folks find it interesting and I guess some of u folks out there smiled reading this.

This is just a starting. Keep Awaiting for the next Blog :-) :-)
